GauVendi was founded in 2020 by hospitality veterans Carina Stegmayer and Markus Mueller, who first met at Softbrand Collection, a group of independent hotels renowned for maximizing performance, when they decided to channel their shared passion for unique guest experiences into a new venture. Shortly thereafter, former colleague Duy Nguyen, with whom Markus had successfully worked together for a major brand transformation, joined as CTO. The company’s name derived from the Latin term Gaudium Venditio—literally means “The Joy of Selling,” reflecting our commitment to empower accommodation operators to sell personalized and distinctive guest experiences.
