Is GauVendi right for your hotel? Start with your guests.

Start with the guest requests your team handles every week. Someone wants connecting rooms. Someone else asks for quiet, a particular bed or a room close to the lift. Another guest simply wants a good price and is happy to leave the room choice to you.

If those requests are hard to turn into bookable offers on your website, there is something worth examining. GauVendi's Dynamic Inventory connects the demand to products your available rooms can fulfil.

Look at what guests need, as well as how rooms differ

Physical differences are one source of value: layout, size, location, outdoor space and bed setup. The reason for the trip, the services included and the guest's willingness to stay flexible can also change which offer fits.

A historic building may make those differences obvious. A standardised property should still be evaluated on its actual inventory and guest choices. In our published records, a 110-unit pod hostel sold 33 products from two PMS categories. The airport hotel is another individual example. Neither is the basis of GauVendi's portfolio averages.

Work through these questions with your team

Which requests can you already fulfil, but cannot easily sell online? Start with the requests that lead to calls, emails or manual room checks.

Which rooms can fulfil each request, and which offers would share that capacity? This shows whether the sales opportunity also makes sense operationally.

What do guests choose when they can express a preference, and what do they choose when offered flexibility? A feature appearing in a booked room is not the same as a guest actively requesting it.

How much direct demand do you have, and how will guests find the new offers? Product matching can improve the booking opportunity; it does not remove the need to attract relevant visitors.

Is the room information reliable, and does your PMS integration support the intended setup? These are practical onboarding questions, not reasons to assume a particular hotel type is unsuitable.

Use a demonstration to answer a real request

Bring your own rooms and guest scenarios. Ask to see a relevant recommendation, a bookable price and the room assignment that fulfils it. The guest should find a suitable offer without having to compare the entire inventory.

GauVendi can replace a traditional CRS and booking engine while your PMS continues to run operations. Agree the RMS and channel-manager arrangements for your setup, along with the implementation scope.

Decide how you will measure success

GauVendi reports +20% average revenue uplift per property and 7.7% look-to-book conversion across its portfolio. Use the individual property records to understand specific outcomes, then establish a baseline for your own hotel.

Track revenue after acquisition costs, booking value, conversion and reservation workload over a comparable period. Keep positive room premiums, below-category differences and extras separate. If your revenue grows 15% while a relevant market benchmark grows 12%, the gap is three percentage points; that difference alone does not prove the system caused it.

Agree the evaluation period, implementation scope and commercial terms before you start. Keep them in one proposal so your team knows what it is assessing and what it will cost.

GauVendi uses a monthly subscription with no booking commission or revenue share. See current pricing and compare the agreed cost with the business improvement you expect to measure.

Book an initial call. Bring a few requests your current system struggles with, and we can work through them together.
